This book is a personal history of the Mackinaw Area - its people and happenings.  This 312 page book is a collection of interviews, term papers, tapes, stories, news accounts and over 200 pictures dealing with the origin and growth of the northern-most community in the lower peninsula.

"Memories of Mackinaw" is rich in knowledge for ship, railroad and lumbering buffs, and fond memories for those whose ancestors claimed the Mackinaw Area.
